IT2 offers excellent services to government agencies and consulting companies as well as research institutions with high quality data and fast turn-around time (TAT). IT2 is one of the leading laboratories in Compound-Specific Isotope Analyses (CSIA). Furthermore, IT2 provides the following services:

  • A large number of routine isotopic analyses of different materials in various disciples such as environmental, hydrological, ecological, geological, biological and petroleum industry. For example, Tritium, Carbon-14, 2H, 18O, 13C, 15N, 34S, 37Cl, 81Br, 11B and 87Sr/86Sr.
  • Research and Development Services. IT2 is frequently engaged with consulting companies and research institution in investigating newly emerged contaminants and developing new analytical methodologies that can aid in better understanding these contaminants and consequently aid in a much better site assessment studies.
  • Supplying clients with all necessary sampling tools and equipment.
  • Rush service to accommodate clients with urgent needs.
  • Data evaluation and interpretations of isotopic results and offers isotopic reports based on client requests.

IT2 owns state-of-the-art IRMS, GC, EA, LSC instruments that are capable of accurate, precise, sensitive (small sample size), and automated analyses. The quality of the laboratory output is supported by highly experienced staff members and a high number of standards and repeats analyzed with all batches of samples. Both National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Standard Reference Materials (SRM) are used to calibrate in-house standards. NIST/IAEA SRMs are always kept in a good supply at IT2. IT2 participates in all International Atomic Energy Agency inter-comparison studies (e.g. TRIC, WICO and TEL).

IT2 is involved in projects and collaboration agreements with various government agencies, consulting companies as well as research institutions and universities in Canada, USA, Europe and other parts of the worldwide.
